This is on 22nd May 2016, a half Marathon is organized to grace The world International Fistula Day celebrated world wide on the 23rd May of each year to create awareness as well as recognize this special group of women afflicted by obstetric fistula. The race took place a day before the actual Fistula day because the actual day happens to land on a Monday; a business day in Kenya.

People from different shades of life joined in this celebration making it one of memorable moments in Gynocare family in the recent times. Elite atheletes as well as amateurs participated in the 21km main race for men and women separately. A 3km fun race also took place. This one for anyone who wished to have a feel of the occassion. T-shirts sending the message home decorated the event and both the young and adults had a treat to remember.
